Simple Things EXT. announce final guests kraftwerk:rewerk

The new musical experiment is helmed by The British Paraorchestra and Army Of Generals

Bristol’s Simple Things EXT. – an extension of Simple Things Festival, featuring a programme of unique performances, talks and art installations – has announced its final act, named kraftwerk:rewerk. They’ll be performing at 5pm (BST) at Bristol’s Colston Hall, on 21 October.

kraftwerk:rewerk is a new musical experiment by the Bristol-based British Paraorchestra and Army Of Generals, who’ve scored Kraftwerk’s iconic 1977 album Trans-Europe Express with a 39-piece ensemble. The score has been composed by Charlotte Harding and Lloyd Coleman, with Charles Hazlewood stepping up as the conductor.

Simple Things Festival will be taking place across multiple venues in Bristol, on 21 October. Metronomy has been announced for the opening concert on 20 October, and there’ll be a free Ninja Tune panel discussion with Coldcut and The Bug on 19 October. A roster of Crack favourites have been revealed for the festival’s line-up, including former cover star Omar Souleyman, Jlin, Leftfield, John Maus, Daphni, Klein and more.
