Visionquest’s contribution to the Fabric CD series was hardly a surprise choice considering the year all four members have had, both individually and as a collective. Having seen them play an enthralling 14-hour set at Fabric in March of this year and have an ever-present member at DC10 throughout the fair majority of the Ibiza season, their big club credentials are safe, as is the output of the Visionquest label, which has seen incredibly consistent releases from Tale Of Us, Benoit And Sergio and Dinky among others. This compilation sees the full amalgamation of the Visionquest sound, with slower deep-house head nodders and hallucinogenic atmospheric numbers, dispersed amongst the odd classic. The closing numbers from Footprintz and Wildcookie fully submerges you in this dream world. Far removed from some of the more austere numbers in the series, Visionquest’s Fabric CD (much like the front cover) bubbles with colour, dreams and a real emotive quality.
