Sanna Charles has been photographing fans of Slayer for a decade.

Her new book, a collection of photographs from the frontlines of Slayer fandom, is a startling insight into the tribal world of heavy metal worship. Titled after the famous grafitti slogan, God Listens To Slayer demystifies a world that many of us will never be able to experience first hand.

The photographs are candid, sometimes gruesome and often very funny. Sanna’s decade long quest has paid off and she’s teamed up with London’s Ditto Press to produce this bespoke hardback book and, frankly, it looks absolutely glorious.
