[one_half]He may be an enigmatic soul, but the sheer quality of Faws’s productions can’t fail to turn heads. His debut EP Antonym is an immediately striking listen, and opening track Take Notice has made the folks at XLR8R, err, take notice or something? Whatever, we’re totally hot for the Dubliner’s tasteful blend of dusty, stripped back R ‘n’ B vibes, dulled finger clicks and Burial-style crackly atmospherics, and he might well be in line to make a subtle, whispering impact in the coming months.
