JOHN FRANCIS

John Francis was a seminal player in the thriving early 80s Exeter punk scene that spawned a whole host of bands including Francis’s very own Lou Reichner Band. He was part of the few who bravely took the first few tentative first steps into creating one of Britain’s rawest and most vibrant underground movements. This groundswell has continued in recent times with the likes of The Computers, The Cut Ups and The Dead City Stereo. Francis has continued his fine work in a series of mature and introverted, lo-fi solo efforts.
