Manchester-via-Berlin hard-techno duo AnD mark their second outing on Perc Trax with the Psychoanalysis Shapes EP, another prized addition to the wealth of brutalist sonics they’ve become known for since their rise to prominence in 2011.

Andrew Bowen and Dimitri Poumplidis, or AnD as they are known, have laid a trail of gut-punching techno in their wake across a plethora of respected techno imprints including Horizontal Ground, Black Sun, Hidden Hawaii LTD, Repitch, and Ann Aimee, most recently with their debut long-player, 2014’s Cosmic Microwave Background.

This time the rounds of punishing techno come complete with a hysterical, chaotic edge spun out across four tracks – just the thing to complement the battering ram of propulsive beats they’ve constructed in typical AnD style. After all, if it ain’t broke, just keep breaking it.
