Joe Farr

In just five years Joe Farr has built up an impressive body of work, releasing on the likes of Turbo, Hypercolour sub-label Hype LTD and sharing an EP with Objekt on Power Vacuum in 2014.

Sense of Purpose marks the first full-length album from the Bristol-based producer, and the second consecutive release on the rapidly expanding Bloc. label. The record sees him delves deeper into the established musical personality he has built for himself, exploring abstract textures and expanding on forthright techno with Warp-style workouts aimed at challenging the genre.

In true Bloc. style, Farr launches his album in the pool at Butlins at the last ever Minehead weekender, which takes place 11-13 March.

Sense of Purpose will be available from 7 March on vinyl and digital on Bloc.
