Soul Structure

Nottingham DIY linchpins Soul Structure are tired of the worn-out, rom-com schmaltzy idea of ‘love’ – taking cues from traditional British and American folk music, they’re more interested in the abstract idea of what the emotion spiritually signifies.

As a follow-up to their rambunctious EP, The Body of Man, the debut LP, True Love noticeably takes its time over its tricky subject, and we’re excited to be premiering the title track.

Loose, jazz-tinged, cymbal-filled drums pulse in and out as the intricate guitar and bass lines almost talk to one another – making up for the lost conversations, the side of the story we can’t hear.

Listen in the player, and check out their imminent European tour dates.

The album will be released on 12” vinyl and digital download on 18 March through Barely Regal Records (UK), Strictly No Capital Letters (UK) and Dingleberry (Germany), and is available to pre-order now here.
