ICA announces autumn programme

A new Chris Kraus book, Seth Price’s first UK exhibition and the world premiere of James Crump’s latest film is in store for the upcoming season

Autumn is approaching, and the ICA has revealed a stellar line-up of cultural events for its autumn programme today (14 August), curated by the recently appointed Director Stefan Kalmár.

New York artist Seth Price will be displaying his first ever UK solo exhibition at the London venue, entitled Seth Price circa 1981.

The venue will be marking the opening of its bookshop with the launch of Chris Kraus’ new book After Kathy Acker. The author is famed for her cult feminist novel I Love Dick, which was re-released in 2015.

In the remit of film, the arts space will be hosting the world premiere of James Crump’s Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex Fashion & Disco – a feature documentary on New York and Paris viewed through the eyes of fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez. Furthermore, the ICA are set to feature artist films by Manthia Diawara, Tobias Madison and Martine Syms.
