Roots Manuva to headline Farmfest 2017

Roots is set to replace Tony Allen, who cancelled his show at the festival “due to an agent and management oversight”

It’s been announced today (18 April) that the MC and producer will be headlining Farmfest’s main stage on 29 July.

This follows up from Tony Allen’s cancellation. In a press release, the festival said, “We are sorry to not be able to host him in 2017”.

Roots has recently collaborated with Ninja Tune founders Coldcut and On-U-Sound boss Adrian Sherwood for the track Vitals.

The Somerset festival has previously announced Actress and Shobaleader One for the bill.

Farmfest will take place at Bruton, Somerset, on 28-29 July. View the full line-up here and buy tickets here.
