BBC Radio host Mary Anne Hobbs has also curated the line-up for the Dark Matter series as part of the festival

Composer William Basinski and Amnesia Scanner have been announced for Manchester International Festival 2017.

Dark Matter, hosted as part of the festival, aims to showcase international and Mancunian talent through eight immersive shows.

The series will be taking place between 29 June to 15 July, and is set to feature Manchester collective LEVELZ, radical artist Holly Herndon, Hackney poet and spoken word artist Kojey Radical, Paleman, The Haxan Cloak and more.
