WOMAD reveal full line-up for 2016

See what The World’s Festival has to offer this year

WOMAD is ready to go for this year’s edition, and there’s some treats lined up for this weekend.

American singer-songwriter and strange-pop extraordinaire John Grant will appear at the three-dayer alongside St Germain, Baba Maal, Roots Manuva and more.

Political responsibility is also an extensive part of WOMAD’s agenda. This year Selda Bagcan, Heartbeat and Dubioza Kolektiv will all be bringing some food for thought to the festival.

Elsewhere picks include a Brazilian Carnival of dance, circus skills and music; a BFI Silent Movie Workshop; and The Physics Pavilion, a location aiming to bridges the gap between science and entertainment, with programme featuring the likes of lead Doctor Who writer Steven Moffat.

WOMAD takes place 28-31 July in Charlton Park. For more information, tickets and the full line-up, head over to the website.
