Easterndaze to host Berlin film and concert series

Easterndaze x Berlin: DIY Music Topographies is a three day celebration of Central and Eastern European music in the German capital

Easterndaze, the blog that maps and unearths avant garde music from eastern Europe, are planning a series of concerts and film screenings beginning at the tail end of next month. The events will be a showcase of obscure and overlooked music from countries including the Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Germany.

The series kicks off on 29 September with a showcase from Berlin’s Portals Editions featuring the international talents of KETEV, Noumeno, Silver Waves, Circular Ruins and Arikon. The second and third nights will be hosted by Prague-based label Baba Vanga and Romanian collective Future Nuggets respectively with proceedings coming to a close on 3 October.

All musical events will take place in Berlin at Silent Green Kulturquartier with various film screenings taking place at Lichtblick Kino.
