The annual Love Saves The Night series returns.

Bristol’s Love Saves The Day is taking place in its new Eastville Park location this year. In addition to the extensive daytime programme spread across Saturday and Sunday over the bank holiday weekend, 23 – 24 May, the promoters have just announced the first bulk of acts set to perform into the night.

On Saturday, headlining Motion are party-minded electronic duo Gorgon City, joined by Shadow Child and My Nu Leng. City promoters Wide Eyes take over Lakota with a selection of Bristol-bred DJs, including Julio Bashmore, Hyetal, and Shanti Celeste. B Traits performs at Coroners Courts with Artwork and Waifs & Strays alongside a special guest yet to be announced, while Blue Mountain hosts a jungle and drum’n’bass focused line-up, with the likes of Danny Byrd and Doc Scott.

After parties on Sunday centre around the Motion complex, with David Rodigan headlining a special Motion show and Shapes presenting Four Tet back to back with Floating Points in the neighbouring Marble Factory venue.

In addition to this, the festival has also added three new acts to their daytime line-ups. Blonde, Jazzie B and Break will be joining the likes of Jessie Ware, Azealia Banks, Groove Armada, Roni Size, Leon Vynehall and Grandmaster Flash at Bristol’s Eastville Park.
