Editorial Intern

The Editorial Intern will assist the editorial team across a range of tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for written editorial, as well as previous experience in creating music or culture focused content. In addition to assisting the Editor and Deputy Editor with the completion of the monthly print magazine, the candidate will contribute toward a wide range of editorial projects for our online platforms and affiliated companies.

The Editorial Intern will work four days a week from our Bristol office for three months, with a start date in November. This position is paid.

Skills Required

– Excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling and style

– Keen interest and engagement with print and digital publishing

– Passion for quality music and culture journalism

– Knowledge and interest in Crack Magazine across all platforms as well as an understanding of its editorial voice and audience

– Passion for music that is in line with the content of Crack Magazine

– Experience in feature and reviews writing preferred

– Experience with InDesign preferred but not essential

– Good phone and e-mail manner

– Ability to communicate well in an office environment
