Fat White Family, The Wytches + The Growlers

When it was announced that two of Britain’s most exciting live bands would be rolling into Bristol with one of America’s in tow, there was a scramble for tickets. The last time Fat White Family came to town, they totally tore the venue up and left a rather large bill in their wake. Bristol invited them back anyway, and boy are we glad they did.
This time round, they brought Orange County rockers The Growlers along with them for a co-headline slot, with the order of play decided on the flip of a coin. First up, however, was Brighton new boys The Wytches who are already making waves in the UK music scene after a slew of heavy psyche singles and raucous live dates. We sent one of our favourite photographers down to get a look at the chaos.
