Drawing their name from a snippet of a nursery rhyme from singer Alex’s Polish upbringing, Kotki Dwa are a London three-piece who have skirted our radar for years. Their ability to produce instantly loveable moments of off-kilter pop perfection is astounding, from their homemade 2006 album to last year’s Lunch EP, through to current single Poison – a sublime little nugget of sparkling kitsch brilliance. With a rarely-seen passion for pure creativity, including a wonderful leaning towards DIY and bespoke aesthetics, a 2012 full-length could well be the making of this excellent lot.
