As part of the ongoing series of Simple Things Presents events, we brought one of the most exciting live acts in the world, Fuck Buttons, to Bristol’s Trinity. Following a hugely impressive, A/V-heavy support slot from CUTS – the latest signing to Geoff Barrow’s Invada Records – the duo of Andrew Hung and Benjamin Power took the stage and delivered all the earth-shattering resonance we expected and more. From a pummelling rendition of Crack’s Track of 2013 The Red Wing, to the soaring, devastatingly emotive climax of Sweet Love for Planet Earth, the set left us drained and elated.
