Stream T.Wiltshire’s forthcoming EP on Tender Hooks

Although it’s been quiet in the Tender Hooks camp recently – the label born out of the bi-monthly(ish) party of the same name at Corsica Studios – their return introduces newcomer T.Wiltshire. On his debut 12″, the vinyl-only EP The Sandringham, T.Wiltshire’s distinctly analogue sounds are presented in two forms. The A-side carries lush, deep and dusty techno that introduces silky synths and sampled vocals while the B-side presents two live jams recorded straight to tape, showcasing a tougher side to Wiltshire’s sound. Final track Run From Fires is a sure highlight, with gritty snares punching over increasingly dramatic, layered sounds.

T.Wiltshire’s The Sandringham EP is due for release 8 September on limited 12” via Tender Hooks. You can catch T.Wiltshire and the rest of the Tender Hooks family at The Paperworks, London this coming Saturday 16 August. Preview the EP below.
