The mysterious Melbourne outfit are making a live comeback at the London weekender
The first rumblings of an official Avalanches comeback started yesterday when the band made a picture of a small embroidered butterfly on black silky material their profile picture on all of their social media accounts and website.
Last night (12 April) the duo announced they’d be making their live comeback at three festivals including a date at Field Day, which will take place in London’s Victoria Park on 11-12 June. The Avalanches will perform on Sunday 11 June.
They will join Sunday headliner PJ Harvey, Parquet Courts, Empress Of, Molly Nilsson and more on the Sunday, and Deerhunter, Floating Points, Holly Herndon, Sleaford Mods, The Black Madonna and more on the Saturday.
