The forthcoming Amsterdam event will explore the theme of fragments.
Taking place from 11-14 May, FIBER will host DJ sets from LCY, Monster, Mbodj, Assyouti and Happy New Tears. It will also welcome ABADIR for a hybrid performance and a collaborative live show from Alexsandra Słyż, Judith Hamann & Gerard Lebik – which will be part of the opening concert.
Elsewhere, there’ll be live performances from Alliyah Enyo, Perila and a DJ set from Teqmun. FIBER 2023 will also feature a series of live audiovisual shows from Shoal & Orah – who will present Terugblik – Hüma Utku – presenting The Psychologist – and Signal Transmutations – aka Spekki Webu and Matti Vilho. Confirmed so far for the lecture programme – which forms part of the symposium – there’s artist and performer Jordan Edge, Sean Cubitt, Helen V. Pritchard and Dr. Toby Kiers.
The eighth edition of FIBER Festival will be held across various venues in Amsterdam and also feature an exhibition at new cultural hub Open Door Space. More of the festival’s programme – which platforms the latest developments and immersive works at the intersection of technology, ecology and culture – will be announced soon.
Tickets are on sale now. Head to FIBER Festival’s website for further information.
