In Photos: Club to Club 2019

Club to Club started out as a series of club events in the early 2000s, bringing a more forward-thinking, experimental edge to Europe’s electronic festival scene.

Over the years the festival has become increasingly high-profile with bookings such as Aphex Twin, Thom Yorke and Kraftwerk commanding the stages.

This year, improvisation was a through-line for both live and electronic acts in Turin. Bands such as the cerebral Black Midi and jazz-trio The Comet Is Coming received huge responses, while soloists like Kelsey Lu pushed boundaries through ad-libbed and wandering vocals. In the electronic realm, spontaneity also felt present with the likes of SOPHIE, Skee Mask, 72-Hour Post Flight and Heith & Sense Fracture unleashing unique sets across the weekend.
