Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Get locked into a new playlist from Pretty Girl; Steel City Dance Discs signee, Bonobo tourmate, one-to-watch disher-outer of dreamy and affective dance music.

For the series, the DJ, producer and vocalist gives us the lowdown on the music that inspired her latest EP, a seven-track collection of gorgeous club tracks by the name of
One Night, One Time. Sprawling out in the space between all-out bangers and bittersweet sing-alongs, the entire EP – including highlights such as All Good and A New Light – brings to mind sunset dancefloors and warm summer’s clubbing. Which, we should hope, is what’s on the cards for the months to come.

I was rinsing these songs at the time of writing One Night, One Time,” says the Naarm (Melbourne) native on her selections – lifted directly from her personal “EP2 inspo” playlist or plucked from her more general listening history during the writing process, and shared ahead of her show at Belfast’s beloved AVA Festival. “I think you can hear the subtle themes throughout that resonate with my EP; complex melodies, textured drums, and bittersweet feelings.”
