11 years strong, PLU – a.k.a. People Like Us – is a well-loved, Bristol-based queer party and collective. From hosting vibrant club nights to creating accepting, accessible spaces and connecting like-minded people in the name of a good time, the growing community is a central pillar in the city’s nightlife scene.
To celebrate the anniversary, co-founder Chris Collins takes over this week’s Crack Mix, gifting us an hour and a half of techno, trance, electro, bass, breaks and acid. Reflecting PLU’s outlook, the mix embraces a range of genres and moods, taking us from moments of sharp intensity to joyful ecstasy.
“This mix is a collection of music that has been played at PLU parties over the past year or so to give a flavour of what you would hear at one of our parties,” Chris said. Get locked in.
