The Carry Nation are NYC-based promoters and selectors Will Automagic and Nita Aviance.

Long-time friends and distinctively talented DJs in their own right, Will and Nita have been playing out together since meeting back in 2003 at the now-defunct East Village spot Opaline. Their collaborative alias is a tongue-in-cheek riff on the militant teetotaller Carrie Nation, as well as a tribute to the fictional girl band of the same name in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

Together they’ve toured prolifically, racking up sets at some of the world’s best-loved queer parties and venues from Honey Soundsystem to the Glastonbury’s Block 9 whilst holding down a residency at Battle Hymn NYC.

The Carry Nation’s Crack Mix sees them blend various shades of heady, hi-octane house & techno across a seamless hour-plus jam.
