DJ and producer Matt Edwards (aka Radio Slave) brings us his 5 greatest tracks to help you get over the morning after the night before

We reckon Matt Edwards has seen some big parties in his time. He’s probably been the soundtrack to them too. Despite being knee deep in diverse musical projects (he’s also known as Matthew E, Rekid and Quiet Village, amongst others) his most recognisable moniker is Radio Slave: an unapologetic party producer and DJ who thrives on dance music in all its forms.

But of course, after the party comes the inevitable next morning. And having just launched his “Love Hangover” webstore, who better to give us his 5 greatest “hangover” tracks than Matt himself?

Kai ALCE - Take A Chance (Larry Heard Dub Remix)

A stunning remix from the legendary Larry Heard and one of my favourite tracks of 2015. It’s quite simply a masterpiece and I could listen to this all day long.

Carl Craig - A Wonderful Life

I’m a huge fan of Carl’s early work and his remixes really influenced my productions and this track is the perfect song to wake up to.

Rhythm & Sound - The Versions: History

“The versions album is the perfect soundtrack for lazy days at home. It’s so warm, rich and fuzzy and it’s definitely on repeat when I just want to slouch around the house and drink tea”.

John Martyn - Solid Air

A stone cold classic from the late great British singer-songwriter and I just adore this LP.

FKA twigs - How's That

I love this song and I still think this is her best work to date. The perfect soundtrack for the day after.
