Paris-born, Berlin-based rRoxymore has her vision fixed towards the future. Otherwise known as Hermione Frank, the producer and DJ recognises the need for the new, challenging the constrictions of house and techno by blending different elements into her productions to create fresh twists. Drawing from Baile funk, jazz and trip-hop, her eclectic take on dance music is what’s propelled her to media attention, along with a string of EPs on labels Human Level and Don’t Be Afraid. Her latest, Thoughts of An Introvert Part 2, follows on from the first chapter, released in 2017.

Coming through with a playlist in a similar vein, Frank curates a playlist that has a reflective feel but, as she describes in an email to Crack Magazine, contains more of a dubby, Balearic vibe compared to her selections at the decks. With titles such as Abyss and Tropicalcore, below is a fitting soundtrack for the last stretch of sun-kissed, hazy afternoons left before summer officially ends.
