Malaysian-born producer Tzusing is part of a burgeoning wave of underground talent emerging from the east. Making his first appearance via Ron Morelli’s L.I.E.S. imprint with the release A Name Out of Place Pt. I in 2014, he’s since followed up with a string of EPs on Public Possession, Born Free and Bedouin Records before rolling out his first full-length last year, entitled 東方不敗. Recently, the producer remixed Gaika’s The Riches for an exclusively cut dubplate, sold at Rye Wax’s vinyl market: The Run Out. Tzusing’s style can best be described as techno that’s hard-hitting from the very first moment, built for large warehouse floors and laden with asian folk and instruments. 2017 saw the producer reach an international audience, filling floors with sets comprised of broken techno, rap, trap and hip-hop, but it’s dancefloors in China that’ve shaped his sets, with the producer previously stating in an interview that there’s no slow build-up, in order to capture the interest of his audience.

His hour-long playlist for Crack Magazine is themed around “tracks on repeat mode while skating”, featuring a mix of western and eastern hip-hop, J-pop and rock. Hit play.
