Sonar have added even mor enames to their line-up for the Barecelona leg of this year’s festival. The new additions include US rapper A$AP Rocky, Squarepusher – who has recently released a new album, house music’s merry prankster Seth Troxler, techno mainstay Scuba, UK duo Mumdance & Novelist, Bomba Estereo, Tiga (live) and Double Vision.
They join a line-up which already includes names such as legendary dance production duo The Chemical Brothers, South African rap’s biggest export Die Antwoord, EDM producer Skrillex and former Crack cover star FKA twigs.
Sonar by day is set in the large Fira Montjuïc exhibiton centre in Barcelona, Spain and has previously seen performances from big names across a broad range of genres from Kraftwerk to Liars. The day time festival is paired with Sonar by Night which takes place in another exhibition centre, Fira Gran Via L’Hospitalet. Sonar Barcelona takes place 18 – 20 June, tickets (including limited reduced two day passes) and more information are available via their website.
