New Jeff Mills due late April

Techno wizard and astral traveller Jeff Mills has a new record out late next month via Axis Records – a live album with classical pianist Mikhaïl Rudy.

Entitled When Time Splits: Live at Auditorium du Louvre, Paris, the album was recorded at the start of last Feburary, inside the world-famous gallery. The performance was a live soundtrack to Henri-Georges Clouzot’s unfinished 1964 film, L’Enfer.

Mills has been experimenting with live soundtracks for a number of years. 2000 saw him score Fritz Lang’s dystopian sci-fi classic Metropolis, and this year has also seen the release of his live soundtrack to Lang’s Woman in the Moon. Check out the tracklist below:
