Outlook reveals opening concert line-up

Outlook festival have revealed the bulk of the line-up playing at their opening concert this September. The warm up event, taking place in Pula’s grand 2000-year old Roman Amphitheatre on Wednesday 2 September, will host the likes of seminal LA hip-hop outfit Jurassic 5 and drum’n’bass luminary Roni Size who will be performing his Reprazent Live show. They are joined by Gentleman’s Dub Club and Trojan Sound System, with another headliner yet to be announced.

As for the main event, the Croatian dance music event features a dub and drum’n’bass-heavy line-up, with a notable tilt toward grime. Headline acts include Boy Better Know with JME, Skepta, Jammer, Frisco, Shorty and DJ Maximum, alongside El-P and Killer Mike’s Run The Jewels. Scene veterans Wiley, DJ EZ, Goldie, The Bug and Sherwood & Pinch all perform, alongside grime talents like DJ Milktray, Kahn & Neek, Big Narstie and man of the moment Mumdance. The festival, which celebrates soundsystem culture, also welcomes the return of Mungo’s Hifi, Iration Steppas, Trojan and Channel One Soundsystem.
