The singer literally did nothing
In a mysterious turn of events, Nicki Minaj was presented as a guest at Drake’s second Coachella headline slot last night, but left the stage having not said or sung a word. Video footage shows Minaj emerging to a rapturous reception, circling the stage, then departing. Having been referred to by Drake as “the love of my life” and “Mama” (several times), she appears to return to the stage for an encore, which involved blowing kisses to the crowd, then is off again. All in all, a bemusing cameo.
