Harmonia to issue ‘Complete Works’ vinyl set

Harmonia will also be issuing a previously unheard record and a 36 page booklet

Following the news that Dieter Moebius – a founding member of Harmonia – passed away earlier this week Grönland Records are set to release a vinyl box sets of the Krautrock band’s complete back catalogue. The 5 record set will be entitled Complete Works and is set to include remasters of studio albums Musik Von Harmonia and Deluxe, their collaboration with Brian Eno Track and Traces, live album Live 1974, and a previously unreleased record called Documents 1975, made up of recordings from gigs in Hamburg as well two songs which were recorded at the band’s Forst HQ.

As well as the recordings the set will also feature posters, pop-up artwork and a 36-page booklet about the band and their music.

Grönland Records issued the following statement to the press:

“On Monday, July 20th, we received the tragic news that Dieter Moebius had passed away. We at Grönland have had the pleasure to have worked very closely with Dieter in recent years and we will miss him dearly. We knew about his illness and despite this, he continued working closely on the box set with us. He and Grönland always wanted the box to be a statement of this incredible music and of life itself.”
