Oval Space to open new venue

At a time when London clubbing seems to be under attack from all angles it seems like a huge win

Oval Space, one of London’s most treasured clubs, are putting their weight behind a new venture. The Pickle Factory will be an intimate venue in London’s Bethnal Green that will be located right opposite Oval Space.

The new venue has been designed by Oval Space co-founder Jordan Gross and keeps music at the forefront. Design engineer and sustainability consultant Michael Guerra has also stepped in to help with The Pickle Factory’s design which will feature a no frills, stripped back aesthetic similar to Oval Space with a sound system created by German master d&b Audiotechnik.

Pitched as “intimate and dark, with warm sound filling its womb-like environs.” It looks set to provide a smaller, less lofty environment than it’s larger, sister venue.

The clubs programme will feature live shows most nights with food available every night with Fridays being programmed in-house by the Oval Space team and Saturdays set to feature a rotating program of the cream of London’s promoter crop.
