Crack stage line-up for Simple Things announced

We’re proud to announce the line up for the Crack Magazine stage at Simple Things Festival

This year we are taking over Colston Hall’s main room with a line-up that we hope will reflect our tastes and cater to yours. The venue is a vast, purpose built concert hall with balcony seating and standing room. Each year it plays host to some of the biggest names on the line-up and always provides a bit of jaw-dropping scenery.

Over the course of the day on 24 October we’ve handpicked a selection of artists including Bristol’s troubadour and long-time friend of the magazine Oliver Wilde, LA’s electronic noise merchants HEALTH, Bristolian cult post-punkers Maximum Joy, the inimitable contemporary classical outfit Penguin Cafe and our joint headliners Savages and Battles who will close the stage.

This year’s Simple Things festival begins with an opening concert in Colston Hall on 23 October featuring Godspeed You! Black Emperor with the full festival taking place in multiple venues around Bristol City Centre. You can see the full line-up for the festival and get tickets over at their website.
