Crack Magazine and Metropolis Music are bringing William Basinski to Union Chapel, Islington
Groundbreaking classically trained musician and composer William Basinski has achieved acclaim across the board for his experimental soundscapes. For over 30 years he has tinkered with tape loops and decaying hardware to create melancholy, thoughtful ambient music.
His latest release Cascade/Deluge has been universally heralded as a masterful record in its genre and even made its way into our top 100 albums of 2015.
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Crack and Metropolis will be bringing Basinski to London for the premiere of his brand new composition Shadow In Time at London’s Union Chapel on Tuesday 23 February.
