The London based pop producer and video director returns with an uneasy new clip
Krista Papista: London-based, Greek-Cypriot media powerhouse is back with an unsettling new music video. The clip sees Krista swap roles with a middle aged, suited man as the pair dance a traditionally masculine Greek dance called the Zeibekiko.
“The portrayals of masculinity in Cyprus and Greece are still ridiculously conservative.” Says Papista, “Boys and men have to theatrically embody the most obvious, traditional, conventional, cliché, orthodox traits of masculinity’s aesthetics and behaviors.”
