Liverpool’s She Drew The Gun win Glastonbury ‘Emerging Talent’ competition

The “dreamy lyrical psych-pop” band will play the John Peel stage this year

She Drew The Gun have been chosen from a longlist of 120 of bands to play the John Peel stage at Glastonbury this year. The band will play an afternoon slot at the festival and receive £5,000 to invest in the band’s development.

Originally a solo act, the project has now blossomed into a full band effort that deal in self-described “dreamy lyrical psych-pop”. BBC 6Music have championed the band since their BBC introducing live session at Maida Vale in 2015, and now the band have a full-length on its way on 22 April.

Memories of the Future was produced by The Coral’s frontman James Skelly and will be released by Skeleton Key Records.
