SoundCloud have finally come up with an algorithm that stops those random jams from messing with your afterparty vibe
SoundCloud have just revealed their new track recommendation algorithm and it looks set to put an end to those random autoplay invasions that have been plaguing house parties since day.
The new feature sits under SoundCloud’s new ‘discover’ tab and filters suggested tracks based on your likes and listening history to help ensure you get the best listening experience possible. This extension mirrors Spotify’s recently added ‘discover weekly’ feature and will hopefully help SoundCloud draw customers to their new paid subscription service.
If nothing else at least we’ll never have to suffer the awkwardness of a weepy ballad tearing through the silence at the end of our new favourite post-club mix again.
