The baby who appeared on the cover of Nirvana’s classic album Nevermind has recreated the album’s iconic front cover 25 years on as a grown man
As Nirvana’s breakout record Nevermind turns 25 the album’s star, Spencer Elden, has recreated the iconic cover 25 years down the line. The original cover, shot by photographer Kirk Weddle, was taken in 1991 when Elden was just a few months old. It sees the 25 year old street artist as a naked baby chasing a dollar attached to a fishing line underwater.
This is not the first time Elden has resurfaced, he has previously given interviews on his stardom and has even recreated the cover before for the album’s 20th anniversary back in 2011.
