A club night is taking place at the newly reopened Fabric in February organised by iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood and her Climate Revolution organisation.
Climate Revolution says SWITCH is “an exclusive night in aid of climate change” where Westwood and others will speak alongside Dale Vince of green energy provider Ecotricity. There will also be music from A Guy Called Gerald.
The dress code for the event is stated on the poster as “Mad Max”. As i-D notes, the event is a continuation of Westwood’s tireless environmental activism. She has previously asserted that switching to green energy is the “one truly political act you can make as an individual”.
Climate Revolution says SWITCH takes place at Fabric, London on 20 February. Find more information and tickets here.
Update: Tonight’s the night! You can stream Westwood’s debut foray into club promoting at 8:00PM GMT via i-D‘s Facebook page.
