Beyoncé drops new track and video, Die With You, and playlist for ninth anniversary

The pop icon has released a studio-mastered version of the song along with a Tidal playlist to mark her wedding anniversary

Back in 2015, Beyoncé uploaded a video of her playing the piano ballad Die With You for her seventh wedding anniversary. The clip was posted on Tidal but the song was unavailable for streaming.

Now, two years later, the singer has released a full-length studio version in honour of her ninth anniversary with Jay Z (4 April), alongside a new video and curated playlist.

This follows up from her Instagram posts today, in which she previewed the lyrics. One post read, “I don’t need air in my lungs if I can’t sing your song”, and another stated, “I don’t really need these fingers if I don’t get to touch your spine”.

The visual accompaniment features home videos of the couple on vacation, Blue Ivy, the wedding in 2008, the singer’s second pregnancy and more.

Entitled IV Ever Ever, the 63-song playlist includes romantic tracks from Sade, Kanye West, Aaliyah, Frank Ocean, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Michael Jackson and more.

The new releases are available to stream exclusively on Tidal. You can preview them below.
