Gorillaz will debut their highly-anticipated upcoming album on their app, which is available on Android and iPhone devices now. The debut will be presented as a virtual house party.
According to the press release, the listening event will allow “fans to immerse themselves in the world of Gorillaz and join Murdoc, 2D, Russel and Noodle at home in the Gorillaz House.”
A date for the event has not yet been announced.
Humanz is set to drop on 28 April. Previously, Damon Albarn described the album as “a party record about the world going fucking nuts” in an interview with Q Magazine.
