The Texas post-hardcore band have shared the visual for their new single Hostage Stamps.

The track comes from At The Drive-In‘s forthcoming album, in • ter a • li • a, which is slated for release in May via Rise Records. in • ter a • li • a will be the first full-length album after their 2000 release Relationship of Command.

Directed by Rob Shaw and Damon Locks, the clip makes use of stop-motion and digital animation to depict faceless military figures holding a man captive.

Frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala described the song as “like walking through the hallway in some war-torn ghetto and reading the writing on the wall”.

In the press notes, he also stated, “We’re coming back. It’s reading the writing on the wall. It’s going and keeping your ear to the ground and listening to the heartbeat of young people.”
