The reissue, entitled OKNOTOK, will also include three vinyls, a book of Thom Yorke’s notes, unseen artwork and more

Today (2 May), it’s been announced that Radiohead will be dropping OKNOTOK on 23 June via XL Recordings. In honour of their landmark third album OK Computer, which turns 20 this year, the new release will roughly coincide with the 1997 album – released on 16 June.

OKNOTOK will feature a remastered version of OK Computer, along with eight B-sides and three previously unreleased tracks – I Promise, Lift and Man Of War – from that era.

The boxed edition will include a hardcover book with unseen artwork, three 12″ vinyls, a notebook containing frontman Thom Yorke’s scrawls from the time, a sketchbook of illustrator Stanley Donwood and Tchock’s – Thom Yorke’s moniker – preparatory work and a cassette mixtape compiled from studio sessions and demos. The boxed edition will be shipped in July.

Fan speculation began over the band’s 20th anniversary for OK Computer after mysterious posters appeared around several cities – including London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Los Angeles – and Donwood shared a teaser of artwork linked to the album. Furthermore, the band shared a video today with a child voicing the lyrics to OK Computer’s track Climbing Up The Walls.
