The National announce new album Sleep Well Beast and world tour

The National have announced details of their seventh album Sleep Well Beast, due to land on 8 September on 4AD, alongside news of an extensive world tour kicking off in September.

The album is the follow-up to 2013’s Trouble Will Find Me and 2015’s A Lot of Sorrow, their collaboration with Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson which saw the Ohio band play MoMA PS1. Produced by member Aaron Dessner, both Bryce Dessner and Matt Berninger are assisting as co-producers, the album is available to pre-order now.
