Party crew and DJ duo Optimo has shared a “non-hierarchical” list celebrating women artists who’ve “had an impact on us over the years”.
The lengthy list includes pioneering and influential names such as Beyoncé, Grace Jones, Debbie Harry, Nina Simone, Erykah Badu and Patti Smith. They’ve also highlighted some more obscure or overlooked artists including Suze Da Blooze, French composer Eliane Radigue and pop musician Annie.
