Matthew Dear releases new pop track Bad Ones

Featuring Tegan and Sara

Matthew Dear has released a collaboration with longtime friends Tegan and Sara, entitled Bad Ones. Via a press statement, Sara explained that the song is about “the relief in finding someone who loves the more complicated parts of you.” Dear has described the collaboration process as “open” and “free”.

He’s previously linked up with the Quin sisters for a cover of the Tears For Fears classic Pale Shelter. However, Bad Ones is the first original track between the trio.

Earlier this year, Dear released the track Modafinil Blues. The artist is set to play his first show in London since 2013, on 21 October at the Moth Club.
