Atomic: Living in Dread and Promise marks 70 years since the atrocities at Hiroshima
Mogwai have composed an original score for the an installment of new season, BBC Four Goes Nuclear, which will “consider the nuclear age from all sides – its groundbreaking opportunities as well as its terrifying dangers.”
The Glaswegian post-rock band are no stranger to scoring TV shows – they soundtracked the first series of The Returned in 2013 and have confimed that they’ve signed up for a second series.
Watch the chilling trailer for the Mogwai-scored documentary below. The episode will air on 8 Aug, 9pm, on BBC 2 Scotland, and on 9 August, 9pm, on BBC4.
