The pair dropped suggestions of the project’s revival yesterday via Twitter
Hudson Mohawke and Lunice intimated via a series of tweets yesterday that they may be reviving their 2012 project, TNGHT.
The clues started coming thick and fast yesterday afternoon when Lunice tweeted a photo of himself mounted on a table in front of Mohawke performing in Montreal for Mural Festival, reading, “Montreal nights… 🌑”
HudMo then confirmed that the pair quickly reunited, tweeting: “Quick TNGHT 15 mins off the cuff reunion in Mtl at Mural Fest last night 🌙 fueeeego”. This was swiftly followed by a photo of the pair posted from Mohawke’s account, captioned, “hiya”.
This follows a tweet from March that showed a “sneak peek” into the TNGHT “studio sessions” posted by HudMo.
The TNGHT project came to prominence after the pair of producer/DJs released the TNGHT EP, released via Warp X LuckyMe in July 2012. The pair also collaborated on Kanye West’s Blood on the Leaves in 2013, which samples TNGHT’s track R U Ready.
